Kadhafi courts Islamists as tribes flex muscles (AFP)

AFP - Libya's tribal and religious fault lines came to the fore Thursday as Moamer Kadhafi's regime claimed an alliance with Islamists, and rebel tribes banded together in a show of political strength.
