Syria army sets sights on border town (AFP)

The army is preparing to storm the eastern border town of Al-Bukamal, next to Iraq, where AFP - The Syrian army on Sunday set its sights on a town near the Iraqi border in its campaign to overcome an anti-regime revolt as security forces rearrested a dissident author and several others, activists said.
